Lotus Emira details have arrived
Before Lotus says goodbye to all ICE cars, they will be producing the new Emira. The company will be all-electric soon but there will still be more Emira models being produced. Unfortunately, no more Elise and Exige. For their final ICE car, the Emira is incredibly impressive and makes us more excited for the upcoming models in the company’s timeline.

At a quick glance, the Emira is similar in appearance to the Evija but we like this one a lot more. Its smoother edges and curvier lines make us think about the Elise which is an all-time favourite for us.
Lotus says the Emira will come with LED lights all around, a titanium exhaust finisher and rear parking sensors. The Lower Black Pack is also fitted as standard. This gives a gloss black finish to the front bumper air blades, front splitter, side sills and rear diffuser.
The company will also be offering an extended colour option for the first few models.
Buyers will have the option of seven interior colours that include red, black, grey and tan Nappa leather, as well as black Alcantara with either red, yellow or grey stitching. This is accompanied by satin chrome finishers, white interior mood lighting and a premium audio system provided by KEF.
Two engine options. One from Japan and the other from Germany.
The first Lotus Emira models will be kitted out with a 3,5-litre supercharged V6 from Toyota. This will throw 298 kW 420 Nm into the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
For a more powerful option, Lotus will later start making models that have an M139 engine which can also be seen in Mercedes-AMG’s A45 models.

Production for the new model has already begun with the first units expected to hit the road in July.
