Lamborghini SC20 one-off roadster

Lamborghini has revealed a one-off model called SC20 created for a special customer. This open-top track car was specially engineered by the brand’s motorsports division with the buyer’s input.

“Two years after the SC18 Alston, the SC20 was a new, intriguing challenge. The chief sources of inspiration were the Diablo VT Roadster, Aventador J, Veneno Roadster and Concept S, and the result is a dramatic combination of creativity and racing attitude.” – Mitja Borkert, head of design at Lamborghini Centro Stile.

The Lamborghini SC20 is extreme in the right way.

The body is entirely made of carbon fibre that was hand made by the Lamborghini aerodynamic engineers to deliver optimal airflow and still be comfortable for the driver and passenger with no roof, even at high speeds. This was finished in Bianco Fu white, which was created for the buyer, and Blu Cepheus blue.

The whole thing rides on 20-inch wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear. Both wrapped in special PZero Corsa tyres.

The interior is just as detailed at the exterior with Nero Cosmus black and Bianco Leda white finishes. There are also visible carbon-fibre details and seats upholstered in Alcantara leather.

What we know about what this car is capable of.

The Lamborghini SC20 is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine that creates 566 kW and 720 Nm at its peak. This powers all four wheels via a seven-speed independent shifting rod gearbox. Unfortunately, more performance figures were not revealed by Lamborghini. Those are left solely for the buyer.
