Call up Q, this Aston Martin Victor is like no other

Q, the customization department at Aston Martin have put together what should be the next James Bond car and they are calling it Victor. They are using the already very impressive One-77 and taking it even further in both design and performance with inspiration from the Vantages of the 70s and 80s. The name comes from then too, paying homage to Victor Gauntlett, who was the boss of Aston Martin at the time.

Q has given the Victor a very strong road presence, dare we say even muscle car like strength. The front end has bold shapes and round headlights. The inspiration from the old Vantage is very strong here. Everything else is all new too as Q seemed to have been given free rein over the Aston Martin Victor. The tail end is massive and flows smoothly with the body, striking side skirts with side exhausts and to top it all off, honeycomb wheel spokes. Right at the back, the taillights are rather unique too.

Every feature of the exterior design can be marvelled at, which is what we think Q was going for here.Aston Martin Victor interior

The interior design got the Q touch too with loads of high-quality material, as expected. The main colours come from green leather and exposed carbon-fibre which are highlighted by aluminium and titanium. Everything about the cabin makes the driver feel like they are in a world of their own as it wraps around them.

If you thought it difficult to top the already spectacular One-77, then remind yourself that Q was assigned to look at the Victor. There have been some significant upgrades to the power and driving dynamics of the Victor and it all starts with the 7.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. This engine has been rebuilt and tuned by Cosworth to give 623 kW and 812 Nm right to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

The Aston Martin Victor will also come equipped with twin coolers, bespoke motorsport clutch and the same inboard springs and dampers as the Vulcan (the track version).
