Goodyear developed new tyres for the Defender

While the Land Rover Defender returns in 2020, Goodyear has developed 2 new tyres specifically for the Defender. Land Rover has worked closely with Goodyear to supply original equipment tyres developed for the Defender customers.

Two Goodyear tyres to put a Defender wherever it wants to be.

The first and more standard option for Defender owners will be the Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure tyres. Multi-skilled and good all-round, they focus on ride comfort while still maintaining support in off-road conditions. Their development makes them particularly useful for rocky areas and offers even more mileage, 31% more than that of the average competitor.

For Defender buyers who want more off-road specific tyres, Good year have made the Wrangler DuraTrac available. It offers more off-road performance and ensures optimal traction on surfaces like mud and snow.

Put to the test in Namibia.

To complete the package, Land Rover has made a test programme in Namibia. Journalists will get the opportunity to test both the new Defender and tyres on some of the most challenging routes in the world.
