Hyundai Tucson N Line

Hyundai revealed its new sportier Tucson N Line model to top off the range. With updated styling both inside and out, this is an N Line so it will not feature any major performance upgrades. This does mean that a full N model could be seen in the future.

As for local availability, the Tucson N Line will first launch in Europe before it reaches our shores in the second half of 2021.

Sporty new looks on the Hyundai Tucson N Line.

Hyundai has increased the size of the grille on the Tucson N Line and gave it ‘parametric jewels’. If this is just a lot of words to you, it was to us too. Parametric is essentially a pattern that follows a mathematical formula causing the size of the shapes to increase and decrease in an ascending and descending pattern. In other words, they gave the grille a fancier pattern.

Below that are revised air intakes next to a rectangular bumper that fits in well with the silver skid plates. Around the back of the car are a roof-mounted spoiler and a red reflector band that wraps around the whole rear of the car. Below all of that is a diffuser that does nothing.

The Tucson N Line rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and comes with several colour options. There are seven as standard but you can opt for a two-tone finish that has five options matched with a Phantom Black roof.

Upgraded seats and cabin materials.

Inside the cabin are two N Line seats with black suede and leather upholstery finished with red stitching. The red stitching repeats itself throughout the cabin where there is a softer material. Behind the N steering wheel is a 10.25 digital instrument cluster which matches the size of the infotainment touchscreen.

More features include ventilated front seats, heating for both the front and rear seats and 3-zone climate control. Otherwise, the interior of the N Line is very much the same as your standard Hyundai Tucson.

No more diesel engine option.

As an N Line model, there is no bigger engine or tuned parts. However, Hyundai is offering the Tucson N Line with petrol, hybrid and mild hybrid engine options. The lower-powered diesel engine has been taken off the options list for the N Line model.

While there are no performance upgrades as standard, buyers can pay more to get an optional Electronically Controlled Suspension (ESC).
