It was all the way back on the 30th of January 2020 that Mazda Motor Corporation celebrated their 100th anniversary, now they are bringing three special edition models to South Africa.

100 years is a big number to boast and as part of their celebration, they will be producing special anniversary edition models for the full Mazda range. This is being done as their thank you to those who have supported Mazda thus far.

What’s different about the Mazda 100th Anniversary Special Edition?

Taking inspiration from the brands very first passenger car, the R360 Coupé. These Mazdas will follow a white and burgundy colour scheme. The exterior body is finished in a white with a massive name, Snowflake White Pearl Mica with 100th Anniversary badges on the left and right fenders. The alloy wheels feature 100 years celebration too with the burgundy strip that surrounds Mazda’s logo.

There will be three Mazda3s in South Africa.

The celebration may have first happened in January 2020, but it is now that three Mazda3 100th Anniversary Special Edition models have arrived. Unfortunately, these cars are not going onto anyone’s garage as they won’t be for sale. Instead, they will be available for media and special occasions only. At least there will be no fights over who gets the only three models.
