Ford reveal 347 kW and 830 Nm Mustang Mach-E GT
A high-performance Ford Mustang Mach-E GT has recently been revealed for the European market. As a reminder, the Mach-E is not simply an electric Mustang, rather a crossover. It still follows the same design cues and the monster under the hood mentality.
This GT version of the Mustang Mach-E is planned to launch in Europe late 2021. The global launch is still to be announced.

Same design, new paint.
The design of the Mustang Mach-E GT remains similar to that of the original with the stand out features being colour related. behind the 20-inch alloy wheels are red-painted brake callipers and body gains new colour options. These include Grabber Blue (what we see in the images) and Cyber Orange.
The interior of this 5-seater is all controlled by Fords latest in infotainment systems. This system is run from the 15.5-inch touchscreen, but you won’t have to interact with it as much since Ford gave it the ability to learn. It remembers the driver’s preferences to make smarter suggestions while driving. So, you might want to think twice before letting some else drive. We hope that Ford gave it some way to turn the learning off for those situations.
Ford performance seats and suede steering wheel inserts have also been equipped to the interior of the Mach-E GT.
What’s the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT got inside it?
Here is where the electric monster lies. The Ford Mustang Mach-E has dual 347 kW motors connected to an 88 kWh extended-range battery. This creates output numbers of 830 Nm of instant torque and 500 km of driving range through all four wheels. The sprint to 100 km/h gets done in just 3.7 km/h while the top speed is limited to 200 km/h. Performance restrictions always arriving at the end.
Remember how we mentioned this car likes to learn? Ford gave it what they call Intelligent range which will predict how much range you realistically have left out of your charge. It uses your driving behaviours in combination with weather and data from other Mustang Mach-E vehicles to get an estimated range. It’s quite the social intellectual.
While this means nothing to the South African market, buyers of the Mach-E that preorder now will receive free charging services for up to five years from Ford. We hope that if the Mustang Mach-E GT lands on our local shores Ford has something similar in mind.
