Aston Martin AMR-C01 driving sim you can have at home

Aston Martin has created a driving seat for a racing simulator like no other and they have called it the . Limited to just 150 units, it was built in collaboration with Curv, a driving simulator company. If there was ever a way to bring an Aston Martin into your house, this would be it. However, with a £57,500 price tag, it’s maybe still not the answer.

The AMR-C01 seat is built into a carbon-fibre monocoque that resembles that of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. The front of the seat was built to resemble the manufacturer too, following the same grille style as the Vantage. Following the theme of an Aston Martin you can have in your home, the AMR-C01 will come in several colour schemes that the brand has used for their prototypes. It is finally all topped off with a curved screen with a computer hidden inside. While there are no specifications as to how powerful the computer is, the system will come with the Assetto Corsa simulator, so it should be able to run that with no issue at all.Aston Martin AMR-C01 simulator green

Like we mentioned before, Aston Martin and Curv will only be making 150 units and plan to start shipping at the end of 2020. This is the car manufacturers first dive into the Esports scene and sim-racing. While this is more likely a collector’s piece and less professional Esports hardware, it could potentially mark a more serious look from physical racing to virtual.
