Corolla Quest 2020 pricing

Pricing has been unveiled for the new Toyota Corolla Quest. As a successful model in South Africa, it is back in 2020 with some changes. Toyota’s goal was to enhance the driving experience and they seem to have done just that.

Corolla Quest’s new design

The look of the car is all new. The front bumper left the rounded face behind and went for sharper angles. The headlights have been redesigned to match, making the face of this car a lot more serious. You can also see that this Corolla Quest is lower and wider than its previous generations.

Opening the car up

Inside we find a 1.8-liter engine giving 103 kW and 173 Nm of torque. Even with a bigger engine, Toyota has improved the fuel consumption of 6.3 litres/100km for models equipped with automatic transmission (CVT), but if you want more engagement in your driving experience, there are manual models too. They are a bit cheaper, however, less fuel-efficient coming to 7 litres/100km.

Getting into the seat

The finishes are very good, and the infotainment system is nice too. It, however, is not a touch screen, opting for manual buttons. While pleasant to use, you won’t feel as ‘in the future’ as you do with other new cars. The seating and space you get in the car is a clear improvement from previous generations, something that we can expect from all Toyotas to come.

The prestige model has leather in the steering wheel and partly in the seats. It also has a touchscreen DVD audio system with six speakers, a reverse camera and cruise control.

The exclusive model is a little fancier offering complete leather seats, push start with keyless entry, TFT-colour instrument clusters, rain-sensing wipers, and LED headlamps.

Safety First

Protecting you and your car, Toyota has made a point for this Corolla to be safe. It features driver, passenger and driver-knee airbags with the prestige models having side airbags too. They have even included vehicle stability and hill assist, making sure your driving experience is smooth as well as safe.

Release and prices

We can expect to see this car on our roads in March 2020. Every model comes standard with a three-services/45 000 km service plan and three-year/100 000 km warranty.
