GMC sketch revealed old overlanding SUV design

GMC is constantly churning out new designs that look great but never make it any further than a sketch. This one on the other hand caught our attention as a sporty looking SUV that doesn’t fall for the regular traps that limit interior space. We also like harsh angles.

Right now, GMC has just recently the 2022 Sierra in October. Their upcoming pick-up got several updates that overall isn’t too exciting, not like a new car would have been. They also appear to be very busy preparing the Hummer EV for production which is cool, but we have seen it before. This Sketch, however, is completely new to us.

The SUV sketch by GMC.

We initially saw this sketch on Motor1 where they are constantly looking at the weird and cool sketches that come from GMC. This one in particular shows an overlanding  SUV that doesn’t match any existing models. Its sharp design features massive wheels, an angular grille that suggests this is an EV and rooftop storage.

Those wheels make it anything but an overlanding vehicle, but we can leave that to creative licence since this sketch likely never even got a clay model.

What do you think? Would you drive a car that’s this angular? It’s something like a Cybertruck with more sides.
