Dodge is creating eMuscle – not EVs
Dodge has announced that it will launch an electric muscle car, but they refuse to call it that, it’s an eMuscle. Judging from the released material, Dodge seems to be missing something in their marketing, but we aren’t going to complain, we just want to see the car.
Electric Dodge, or an eMuscle.
From what Dodge is showing, we don’t get to see much. The video, shown on the company’s Twitter account, gives us a lighting signature with dry ice reflecting off of the body’s shape. What does come out, clear as day, is that Dodge is going retro with this car and that makes us excited.
Apart from the vague old muscle car shape we see in the video, we also see an old logo design. In case you were wondering what that triangle logo was, it’s called a Fratzog. Say that out loud, it’s quite a fun word.
It’s seen on the front end and the taillight design of this video, but it first appeared on the Dodges from 1962 to 1976. Back then, it was first used on the Polara 500 and now, it makes a return, promising a new retro-styled car. Hopefully, we will be seeing a whole lot of old school cool and less of what Dodge is actually saying.
Performance Made Us Do It.

Unfortunately, Dodge also made a YouTube video that seems to miss the mark. The core message is that electric power can make muscle cars more powerful. That makes a whole lot of sense. However, they went and ruined it by saying they are not making electric cars, no, Dodge will be making an eMuscle car. As though there was a difference.
Nevertheless, we think Dodge will be making a car to get excited about, regardless of how they talk about it.
