2021 Audi Q2 has arrived in South Africa
The Audi Q2 has received a fresh facelift for 2021 and it has arrived in South Africa with pricing and specs revealed. The changes are very minor for the Q2, but there are several small changes that are worth talking about if this is a model you are interested in.
Minor updates with a new colour palette for the 2021 Audi Q2.
Audi has given the new 2021 Q2 small changes to the front and rear. These changes differ slightly between the three available variants – Standard, Advanced and S line. There is also a new colour palette to choose from, that including Apple green, Manhattan grey, Navarra blue, Arrow grey and Turbo blue. The blades on the C-pillars are finished differently depending on the trim.
Speaking of the trim, the Standard model receives body colour blades, sixteen-inch wheels and LED headlights. The advanced trim has Manhattan grey blades, seventeen-inch wheels and LED taillights. Finally, the S line model has Platinum grey blades, eighteen-inch wheels and body colour bumpers.
The Black styling package is also available that will give several black finished pieces to the exterior and nineteen-inch wheels finished in, you guessed it, black. This package is only available for the Advanced and S line trims.
The available interior packages.
The interior of the Audi Q2 remains mostly the same. The Advanced and up trims receiving sports seats that either has fabric upholstery or a mix of leather and artificial leather.
Buyers can opt for three different interior packages to their liking, for an extra price. The Comfort package comes with an electric tailgate; 4-way lumbar support; seat heaters in front; a storage and luggage compartment package with two rear USBs. Then there is the Tech package with MMI navigation plus; Audi smartphone interface; Audi virtual cockpit. Lastly, there is the S line interior package that is only available for the Advanced and S line models. It upgrades some of the cabin’s materials, adds S line emblems and adds additional decorative inserts.
One engine to power the three variants.
There is one engine across the range and that is a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol. It powers the front wheels with 110 kW and 250 Nm via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Audi claims that it can reach 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds and get to a top speed of 213 km/h.
The S line models will also feature a sports suspension.
