The next Volkswagen Amarok sketch revealed
Volkswagen has revealed the second teaser image of the upcoming second-generation of the Amarok. It’s a much more realistic image than the previous one and will be one of the first commercial vehicles VW will make in collaboration with Ford.
The new looks on the 2022 Volkswagen Amarok.
While this image is by no means the final product, this does seem to be a closer look at what we can expect to see in 2022. This graphic shows a double-cab body with a very wide grille that seamlessly integrates with the headlights.
Up to, there is a light bar while lower down there are very aggressive square wheel arches. There are also bright orange highlights in the front end fir what we assume to be the more practical features like the tow bar.
Volkswagen team up with Ford.
Going back in time to the distant year of 2019, Volkswagen and Ford made an agreement to develop and share costs on their next generation of commercial vehicles. This new Amarok we see in the images will be one of the first models to come from that agreement. So, there will likely be a lot of shared technology and many features that we have seen in the new Ford Rangers.
