Electric Jeep Wrangler coming soon
After the Wrangler 4xe plugin hybrid, Jeep has just teased a fully electric Wrangler. What’s more exciting is that we can expect to see this concept this month, hopefully with more details about it. Theelectric Wrangler concept is set to appear at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab which starts on the 28th of March.

Following on from the Superbowl advert, Jeep launched a new webpage on their website titled, ‘The Road Ahead’. This page goes through the brand’s future plans including the new Grand Cherokee L and Grand Wagoneer concept. Then we see the electrification plans.
Along with the electric Jeep Wrangler, we get to see Jeep’s concept for solar-powered charging stations, no doubt meant for long journey stops in the electric Wrangler or 4xe plugin hybrid.
It’s called the Wrangler BEV Concept.
Jeep has called it the Wrangler BEV concept and all we get to see is a silhouette and a 3D model of the powertrain.
From the silhouette, we can see that Jeep will not change the iconic Wrangler look for the electric version. Something a lot of people will be happy to hear. No information is given away about the concept other than when we can expect to see it. We do expect to see impressive off-road capabilities, but maybe not as extreme as what GMC did with the Hummer.
