Mahindra Pik Up double cab range gets updated

Mahindra has completed the upgrades to the S6 and S10  Pik Up double cab range that follows their new styling and also includes some upgraded tech. These upgraded models will be making their way to our local market with pricing details.

Mahindra Pik Up S6 and S10 will both feature the more stylish front-end.

As the last to receive the new front-end design, we have seen many of the designs before on the bigger models. Mahindra describes the two Pik Up models as bold and aggressive as they come with a wider seven-slat grille flanked by clear headlamps and side indicators. The redesigned lower bumper completes the look with round fog lamps.

Both single and double cab S6 models are highlighted with silver paint while the S10 follows the S11 Automatic with chrome. Probably the most practical of upgrades is the latest bolt-on cab protector that Mahindra is giving to all of its Pik Up models with the exception of the Karoo. It’s sturdier and will include more tie-down spots.

The updated will bring a little more tech to the range.

All S6 models and up, single and double cab, will now feature cruise control and electrically adjustable rear-view mirrors. Those mirrors on S10 and above models will include integrated turn signals. As standard across all models, each will have one-touch lane change signalling and Mahindra’s new flip key. Not as much of an exciting announcement when going keyless is the current trend.

In terms of infotainment, the S10 will now be offered with a seven-inch touchscreen that comes with an integrated reverse camera. Along with it comes the most recent navigation maps and language pack for South Africa.

A reminder on the engine and the new local prices.

The Mahindra Pik Up range runs on a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine with 103 kW and 320 Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. See pricing below:
