2021 Porsche Taycan updates make it even quicker
The 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo S hasn’t even been launched and Porsche has already given it updates. This adds more functionality and options to buyers of this beautiful all-electric car, but more importantly, makes it quicker when sprinting to 200 km/h.
Seven new colours and smarter charging.
Porsche have added seven more colour options to their 2021 Taycan Turbo S with updates to the available packages. At purchase, buyers can get a Carbon Sport Design package that adds even more carbon fibre. Along with that, there will now be a colour heads-up display.
Updates to the Taycan’s charging system include a Plug & Charge function that makes charging more convenient. What it does is communicate with the charging station so that you don’t need to carry around a card or install an app to pay. The car will do it all for you. An onboard charger with a capacity of 22 kW will now also come as standard with the updates to the Taycan Turbo S.
How quick is the 2021 Porsche Taycan after the updates?
With the use of the launch control function, the 2021 Porche Taycan Turbo S will now reach 200 km/h from standstill in just 9.6 seconds. Porsche also says that it can do a quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds. These are some really impressive figures to improve upon.
Going too fast to adjust to speed bumps? Well, this update will also help you out with that. Thanks to an added Smartlift feature, you can now “teach” the Taycan to adapt the air suspension automatically when you come to speedbumps and other raised surfaces.
