The Bologna airport in Italy has recently acquired a very unusual follow-me car, a Lamborghini Huracán Evo. Now airports are full of unique specialised vehicles, but it’s not very often that you could find a supercar at one 0f Italy’s busiest airports.
A customised Lamborghini Huracán Evo, ready for duty.
The Huracán Evo has been kitted out for its new duties at the Bologna airport. The supercar is painted in Verde Turbine matte green and features high-visibility orange graphics. It also gets more graphics to share the message “Welcome to Bologna Follow Me in Our Beautiful Country”.
It further receives orange beacon lights and a communication radio, all the things it will need to function as a follow-me car. Now, the Huracán Evo will help guide taxiing aircraft through the airport while they are on the ground. It may even get used for transporting staff, short notice cargo and VIPs. All of which we see the drivers taking every excuse to do.
This is not the first Lamborghini at the Bologna airport.
Lamborghini and the Gugliemo Marconi Airport in Bologna have worked together before. This new Huracán Evo is not the first Lamborghini at the airport. In the past, an Aventador and a regular Huracán have been equipped for similar duties and driven around the Gugliemo Marconi Airport.
