Suzuki has recently announced the arrival of the Brezza for South Africa. They brought the very first model to the Jimny’s 50th celebration. A sideshow that might have stolen the stage. Here is what we know about the Suzuki Brezza arrival.
The arrival of the Suzuki Brezza.
The Brezza fits in between Ignis and Vitara, both in size and price. In terms of size, it’s only slightly smaller than the Vitara and follows a lot of the same design language. It also gets a new touchscreen infotainment system.
Under the hood lies a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated engine that creates 77 kW and 138 Nm of torque through the front wheels. As for the transmission, there are no official details, but the Indian variants have an option of manual or automatic. As a car built in India, it makes sense to not be limited, but we suspect that South Africa will get to choose too.
Our official launch will happen early 2021 and it is closer to that date that we expect to see more details about the spec and price. We are quite excited to talk about what will be offered in this SUV soon.
What are your thoughts, is it a better than a Renault Duster or a Ford EcoSport?
