Mercedes-Benz Vans is working on and confirmed the T-Class, their new small van. A car they hope to cater to both practicality and luxury made in co-operation with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
“With the new Mercedes-Benz T-Class, we will offer a vehicle which makes it possible for families and those with active pastimes to step into the Mercedes-Benz world. These customers seek attractive and practical compact vehicles – and it is precisely these demands which the new T-Class fulfils.” – Marcus Breitschwerdt, head of Mercedes-Benz Vans.
While not much has been revealed about the T-Class other than a teaser image of a rendered silhouette that we can see in the image. All it shows is the new van’s shape but we do know that we can expect a wide-opening sliding door on both sides of the vehicle. Mercedes-Benz has also confirmed that they will offer the new T-Class with an internal combustion engine and as a fully-electric.
Hoping to meet the needs of families while catering for leisure journeys, we are willing to go on a limb here and say that this Benz might just do it. If this van sounds appealing to you, it will only be available from the first half of 2022. At least, for now, that is what Mercedes says.
