The Turin Motor Show ended in spectacular fashion on Sunday 14th June with the Gran Premio Parco del Valentino, in which 300 exclusive cars paraded through the elegant streets of the city centre.
The procession was lead by the parade Motorsport cars, where Maserati was represented by the Maserati MC12 Versione Corse driven by Michael Bartels, winner of the 2010 FIA World Championship GT1 title, alongside Andrea Bertolini.
As a tribute to the automotive firms that took part in the show, the motorsport cars were followed by the parade of classic and modern cars. Maserati led the procession in the 3500 GT Vignale Spyder – this car was first presented on the Vignale stand at the Turin Motor Show in 1959 – all three generations of the Ghibli (‘60s, ’90s and 2013), the Spyder 90th Anniversary, the 3200 GT, the Coupé Cambiocorsa, the special MC Victory edition of the GranSport, three GranTurismo S cars and the fifth-generation Quattroporte.
Maserati participated in the Turin Motor Show with a Quattroporte GTS and a Ghibli Diesel on display in the Show section and the MC12 GT1 and MC12 Versione Corse as part of the Motorsport section.
The Maserati stands was very well attended with many of the motorshow fans admiring the brand’s cars.
